have you played/been in the Grey Eagle? Most smaller indie bands play there. I'm new to here and haven't been there yet although it looks lame thru the window and the word on the street is 'good bands, lame space'. There is a burgeoning DIY/punk space I read about but forgot the name/location. I'll try to find it.

I live here years back but had to leave. I was so excited to get back but so much has changed. Lexington Ave is totally RIP since Vincent's Ear closed. The punks and gutter punks are gone and what's left is... oh dpn't get me started.
