So anyway Star India was great, put the lie to my comment that NoCal food is not typically spicy by eastern/southern standards, and Shanghai Kelly's has a nice schticky vibe going on plus cheap Pyramid Hefes which unfortunately did not go well after ingesting tikka masala/do piaza in any quantity. Burp city.

Where were we hanging out tonight again? I hope to be able to repark the zipcar, which is @ washington + van ness, and get wherever without being too late/rushed.

Thank you all, we had a wonderful time, even at the Tonga Room with that crazy old ho with her tits hanging out everywhere dancing like an idiot for almost the entire duration of our drinking.

We saw Mission Dolores! And a fight broke out at Molotov's. I think the only thing we really wanted to do that we didn't was visit the Presidio, which I don't think they're going to burn down/re-franchise anytime soon so we decided that's good for next time. Wine Country was also basically a disaster since Google neglected to inform us of the difference between Napa Road & EAST Napa Road. That difference being a almost a mile latitudinally on Broadway, also know as 12. Moral: Fuck highways and maps and directions, just drive, wherever, and stop as you please.

I hope to see Mr. & Mrs. M. White in DC sometime soon! Or any of you, but they provided us with the most delightful dinner experience of the trip and we had a gorgeous time hanging out with the two of you. Plus we know JUST THE BAR to hop to when you get out here.

I am currently composing in my mind the William Gibson knockoff screenplay casted as follows:

M. White: The eccentric plutocrat unwittingly in possession of the MacGuffin
Drew Daniel: A "hacker" who belongs to a rare circle of folks who know what the MacGuffin is truly capable of
Jaxon: The only man who knows what the MacGuffin actually looks like, since he smuggled it into the country from Asia and sold it to M. White's underlings for his retirement check
milton parker: The clever antagonist who wants the MacGuffin for selfish, devious purposes
dleone: Everyman Hero who has realized that only the MacGuffin will bring his beloved out of a comatose state.

We are sad to have missed Steve Shasta but we are positive it is actually his fault and we will be back before too long.
