there is this awesome indian place (new-ish, like maybe a year old) on 800 block of hope st, you know, on the way out toward blackstone blvd. is called "not just snacks" (really) because it's across from a little grocery store owned by the same people, but it is really good food & not expensive. much better than kabob & curry

dude you gotta be mad careful after the yellow fever vaccines - my little sister ended up in the hospital with some bizarre unidentifiable reaction that led the staff to keep her in an isolation unit! also it gave her oddly high levels of protein in her urine and now she has to see a kidney specialist!

We had one guy get upset because someone cut the deck simply by removing the top card. The upset guy accused the deck-cutter of card counting which is pretty irrelevant at most tables.

i watched the movie the tenants (based on the bernard malamud book). i liked it, but i suspect that the faults it had were in the book as well. the best thing about it was how it felt like an early '70s "gritty urban drama" (TM).

Ian, I did go to the show! My girl friend and I got wasted and both threw up in the bathroom (very neatly, I might add) and I got cracked in the head with a mic stand during the Snipers set and now have cross-hatched scabs on my swollen forehead! It knocked me over the monitors and I just got up and brushed it off until I thought my forehead felt awfully wet -- wiped it with a hand and it came away all bloody. Apparently now I'm hardcore or something.

Which one of the band members is Mike? The shortish lead singer was the one who clocked me, and after they played Denise went all save-a-ho on him and he ended up buying my drinks for the rest of the night. Aweswome. Also I may have made a new bikes & beers friend in my nabe if he ever gets his Schwinn to the shop for repairs.

Fri: got FUCKING THRASHED at arrow. e.bay friends missed bart and had to spend the night. i fell asleep in twin aero bed with lady friend. wife fell asleep on sofa bed with couple friends.

Sat: hungover, decided i wouldn't drink. YEAH RIGHT. went to bbq/houseparty. got thrashed.

Sun: perform surgery on hand taking out splinter from night before. watch Annie Hall.

I know some of you have heard me boast about R0ckstAr G@mes video game loft in Chin@t0wn and how I was privileged to get invited to their new table tennis video game tournament about 3 weeks ago. Well, now I got our office invited for a party, just for us, this Monday at 7pm!!!

This place is sweet. It’s a huge loft, they have a fridge stuffed with beer along with top shelf liquor, and tons of food. It’s right on Bowery and I forget what but it’s not that far from here.

He needs a head count so he knows how much food to get. So get back to me if you want to come. Get your gamer face on!!!

one of my father's colleagues and his 2 kids (7th and 10th grades) are here for dinner. the kids are not so talkative. i drank a few glasses of wine in an effort to entertain them. i think they think i'm crazy. at least they're getting a few laughs out of being in my awkward house!
