Non-baggy jeans for men-do they even exist?

I am so sick of trying on a supposedly "slim cut" pair of jeans and seeing it hang off my person in a truly ridiculous manner. I mean, I realize clothes manufacturers must feel they can charge more money if they include more fabric--this has to be the reason Diesel jeans are at least $125 each, right?--but maybe they shouldn't call it something it's not.

Right, so any suggestions on slim cut jeans for men that are actually slim?

Yeah, Diego, just buy small. And try something with a boot cut or flares, as that will balance any awkward downward tapering you get from going a size or two smaller.

Well, "Ask a stupid question..." I guess.

I tried going a size down, Nitsuh, it's just that either I can't fit in the next available size down, or it's still too baggy in a weird way. I'm convinced I just haven't found the right cut. And the women's jeans are an option, but they're usually cut to make room in the hips and less room in the crotch. I suppose I was asking if people could suggest actual brands and/or cuts.

(But maybe I should stop worrying about this and just eat more...)

if you want tight jeans, then you are gonna have to pay some money. They seem to be the fashion right now, at least in the US, or at least the parts of the US that have fashion. Designer stuff is the tightest. I have a pair of Hugo Boss jeans that are just right. I can walk long distances in them, but there is not an overabundance of material. I tried on some Dolce and Gabbana jeans, just for fun, because they were at least $200, and I wouldn;t spend that much on jeans, but they were very tight. I couldn;t even get them on but they were in my size. so look for designer stuff, european, esp. italian. sometimes you can find it for cheap.

Yeah man i know excactly what u mean. unfortunatelt i hate to break it to you, but here in the US u really wont find any cheap tigh fitting jeans. i seached everywhere and i only found then in the UK, unfortunately not many stores ship them here. and when they do the price of these jeans go too high for common sennce, i mean who really likes spending 150 dollard on one pair of jeans that u'll probably wear once a month unless u plan to wear and wash them daily but that's not even fashionable not to mention really nasty (cause after so many washes the fabric tears and faddes to unmentionable colors. lol. anyway my suggestion would not be to go broke for a pari of jeans but make your own or just have them tailored a bit. The other obious suggestion would be to wear girl's jeans, but as i have thought about it unless you have a good exuse, people will give u a wierd look as you sort thru the glitter pants asking the manager if they have a size 6. lol. so either take my advise on buying Levis 527 jeans the (lowrise bootcut) and then have them tailored slighty. dont do the Gap thing as their jeans are aimed for men who dont have asses or thighs or stomaches.

Maybe it's a product of spending my teenage years in wide-leg skater jeans, but how in the hell do you wear tight jeans?

They all fit fine, but it feels funny, and the lack of crotch room is uncomfortable as hell.

The whole 6'1" 195 thing might factor in, too.

Best jeans right now: Old Navy boot cuts (!!!) and Bullhead "loose." Both less than $20 a pair.

Anyone want REAL 'form-fitting' jeans? They are hard, but not impossible to find. Remember the Levis 506's? They were discontinued from production in I think 1992. I've bookmarked eBay's -Men's Clothing; 506, and I have had rare but fortunate luck. The 506's are "The King" (or queen). They leave nothing to the imagination to the front or rear! Patience is a virtue.

I found the perfect pair of jeans in a CCAPS (Columbia County Animal Protection Services) thrift shop in Magnolia, Ark. And it only took me 30 years. The brand: Chuck Norris. No shit. They're tight but real soft and stretchy. For doing karate kicks and stuff, I'm guessing. And there's this strange reinforcing patch of denim in the crotch that we've dubbed the "mangina." I stick with the 501s I am 5'11" and weight 145 pounds, I have a slim build... the 501's are not tight but look simply great... I tried lots of brands and models... but the 501 are the real thing, It even makes my small ( but firm ) butt look right.. I am a cyclist so I am thin and slim but firm... I live in Europe and I can mail order them from JC Penney's in the US for a third of the price here in Europe, and also the 501 US jeans are built a little smaller and thiner than the ones here so the fit is almost perfec for me. I wear tight stretch jeans, and the best I've found are...

Krew "AR" jeans, slim fit, stretch denim, last for ages.

Wrangler "Roxanne" jeans, not made anymore but if you find some.. they're amazing, thin material but super slim and stretchy.

Levi 805's.. just like 501s, except a little slimmer and stretch denim.

All my jeans are plain, no bells and whistles, all straight leg drainpipes and no weird crap, plain, simple and sweet.

Wrangler 936 slim fit jeans are usually $20. Levis fucked up the 517 cut a couple of years ago. Girl jeans are allright, but make sure the thighs aren't too curved and they aren't low rise.

Another option is to learn how to sew. There's probably a machine at yr mom's house... just pin them where you want them taken in, and sew along the lines.

It's so difficult to find slim fit jeans that are *not* cut low on the waist. Just good ol' solid peanut butter and jelly jeans, mid-seventies look, dark blue with slightly lighter worn-look on thighes, slim, tight on the thighs, modestly flaring at the bottom, not too long (brushing the top of the shoes (not wrinkled)). The sort I used to chop wood in, and the type worn by Ian McCulloch in the "Crocodiles" period. Where, who does 'em??? All you can get are jeans that make you look like you've shit yourself.

I had the exact same problem they are a bit expensive but they are with it cause you won't have to buy another pair of jeans for about 3 years and you figure how much you would pay in three years of buying bargain jeans and not being satisfied and it equals the same amount.

tight jeans... be careful about the construction of some slim fitting jeans around the inner-upper thigh. some slimmer designs tend to have odd ronald mcdonald bulges just as they reach the the crotch, which dont really make for more room but instead just add odd flaps of fabric between your (i'm assuming skinny) legs. These bulges disrupt the slim look the jeans are supposed to have, and thus look kinda strange. i have a pair that ended up looking like this that i got at h&m, and i tried on the new slim straight levi's model (514) and they had a little of this going on as well.

Hurray, I found a pair of very nice fitting jeans at a Western Wear shop in Gainesville, FL. Wrangler Slim Fit are really slim. Good bye baggy arse Levi 505's. Make you look like your carrying a load in your shorts. Great price but of course this huge freeking store only has 1 pair in my size.

I found lots slim jeans. I think for levi's it's 516. There's also one in Topman and H&M.

Okay, I desperately need a good pair of jeans. I had to give up on guy's pants because well...I'm too thin. I'm 6ft and weigh 120lbs. I've been wearing women's stretch (size 0, usually long or extra long) for about two years but I'm sick of not having pocket and crotch space. My ass looks better, well at least what little bit of ass I have...my thighs are about 15 inches around and my waist is roughly 30 inches. From hips to ankles and I'm about 36 inches.

Size 0-1 in womens are often a little loose around the thighs.

I looked at the levi's 501 and they're a bit too tight toward the bottoms, I like bootcut and flared jeans. The 517s cut was nice but they're just not small enough. Any suggestions?

Oh, and none of that gain wait stuff hahah, I've been trying for years. I'm 18 and I need jeans now, I can't wait ten years.
