Ever heard of this? Using Philosophy instead of psychology to work out ones troubles wiht a therapist? (philosophical therapist that its!)

yes and I think for people without serious psychological problems in need of medical attention, it sounds ace. I think it might take a very particular approach on the part of the philosopher-therapist, though, as philosophy has the habit of leaving problems unresolved, and more problematic than when they were first 'treated' with philosophy.
