how come no-one told me how easy it is to make "proper" hot chocolate? single cream, milk, chocolate, heat, and 5 mins later you have an amazing drink! although i do seem to be having big mugs of it every evening i'm at home at the moment, which can't be healthy. but it's so, so nice...

you can add cinnamon, too, maybe a litle bit of vanilla, possibly golden syrup if you're using very dark chocolate (lindt excellence 85%!).

I tend to make it very strong and in the smallest amounts possible. Have never used cream, though, which might make it even more obnoxiously rich.
