I have these all the time from the electrical engineering point of view, but not from American art. It sounds totally cool.

That guy played here a couple of months ago; the show was pretty good but i was more impressed with Tetuzi Akiyama who he was playing with. Nakamura's official website is here. A much more interesting example of closed loop feedback is Rafael Toral's "Aeriola Frequency" album.
