Had to look up Al Carns and he's yet another ex-armed-forces twat, didn't go to Eton/Oxford though, so guess there's that.

From the selection it's probably Chaos with Ed Miliband.

It's bloody Carns! I checked!

mike t-diva, Wednesday, 20 May 2026 20:46 (two weeks ago)

Carns is not even in the game. He takes selfies of himself in the pub, on his own, drinking watery pissy lager, every time he thinks he's in the game. His polling is at an insignificant level. He's not even peak Dan Jarvis level of *in the game*. Because this is a fascist shithole failed state, anyone who is ex-armed forces has huuuuge amounts of political gravitas that doesn't match up with any reality.

Would literally roast my own hands and eat them in a sandwich before voting for any of these.

calzino, Wednesday, 20 May 2026 21:01 (two weeks ago)

Haven't really had to think about Rayner for a while so that's a huge advantage for her.

nashwan, Wednesday, 20 May 2026 21:03 (two weeks ago)

coup de no ta

Disregard

I was saying Boo-urnham

nashwan, Wednesday, 20 May 2026 21:12 (two weeks ago)

Ed seems like he’s tired of everything and doesn’t want to be PM so would probably be my first choice.

omar little, Wednesday, 20 May 2026 21:37 (two weeks ago)

look i just think its time we looked at some of the proposed courses of action and asked the important question

anyway write in for Corbyn

Ed Balls. Russell Brand in his kitchen. Rachel Reeves shrill pronouncements on benefits scroungers. Austerity. In retrospect, I think Ed Mili is a total cunt and I regretted voting for his dreadful politics and policy program in 2015 and vowed never to vote for a cunt again after that GE. He's probably the most competent on top of his brief minister in the Starmer government. But yet still a moral coward and a dismal failure.

calzino, Wednesday, 20 May 2026 21:47 (two weeks ago)

Be realistic, eat your own roasted hands in a sandwich

Yeah he can fuck off.

Idk, I’m with the hand sandwich option. I’d consume mine on top of the traditional bin, ofc.

only correct way to eat a hand ime -

I had a dream where there was a food called “King’s Hand”, a hollow hand made of m&m cookie, filled with Greek salad.
I could not stop thinking about it.

Quite the challenge, this one.

WORST: Wes Streeting. Totally self-serving, will say anything to get elected, to the extent that he's even been rhetorically tacking to the left of whatever it is he stands for.

SIXTH: Shabana Mahmood. A terrifying prospect. Oh God I'm putting the gay and the POC at the bottom, maybe I'm part of the problem etc.

FIFTH: Andy Burnham. Again, totally self-serving (hmm Manchester tall building boom), will say anything to get elected, would enjoy a honeymoon period shorter than Truss's tenure.

FOURTH: Al Carns. Defence industry stooge? Also, once a Tory, always a Tory.

THIRD: Keir Starmer. Labour were meant to end the "if they falter, chuck 'em out" tendencies of the previous lot. Given the competition, replacing him just seems like a giant waste of time.

SECOND: Angela Rayner. As with John Prescott before her, a muzzled and compromised figure who seems unlikely to roll back to where she once might have been, but not without a few faint glimmers of potential.

FIRST: Ed Miliband, if only by default as the least tainted, most capable contender, who would probably do the least harm.

mike t-diva, Wednesday, 27 May 2026 13:10 (one week ago)

i feel like Wes has the best "last feeble Emperor of a dying Chinese dynasty" vibe. you need an exemplar of everything that's brought the regime to its demise.

Bingo! For ages I've been trying to think who it was he reminded me of. Thx suzy!

Misread this as doing the least ham. Sandwichgate casts a long shadow.
