What have you misread recently that made more sense the way you read it than the way it was meant to be?

I misread the warning on a cigarette packet yesterday - I thought that "Your Smoking Can Harm Others" was actually "Your Smoking Can Charm Others" and I believed it!

one year passes...
The 11:00 news was on at a bar last night. A newscaster was standing outside of Frankfort reporting on a State Senate Bill on fetal homicide. One of the girls I was with glanced over at the TV, which was showing the man reporting from the field, with a titled overlay that said Fetal Homicide Bill.

She misread it entirely and for a second thought reporter's name was:

"Fetal Homicide" Bill
