Bitter? Twisted? Inadequate? Cynical? Untidy in your mind?

I recommend sex.

Of course, I ALWAYS recommend sex.

I agree with madchen about cleaning up. It helps clean up the mind too. And keeping a journal can be nice. And playing with a cuddly pet. And going shopping. Or taking a nice, long, candle-lit bath and then putting lotion on oneself afterwards. Escape with a good book or movie. Meet up with a close friend or your mom.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Part of my current problem is that I have realised I do not like myself much at all, and that is a painful acknowledgement to make - 'nod to the dark ( undesirable ) aspects of your personality'.

Of course, I ALWAYS recommend sex.

But what if you're feeling bitter and twisted and inadequate and cynical and untidy in your mind because you can't get laid?

j.lu (j.lu), Monday, 9 December 2002 20:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Uh... Why don't you lay yourself? And I don't mean that in a bad way.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Monday, 9 December 2002 20:38 (twenty-three years ago)

Is there a bad way? (note to Tom: don't answer that)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 9 December 2002 21:57 (twenty-three years ago)

I just meant to say "Go lay yourself" as opposed to "Go fuck yourself" because that generally has negative connotations.
