its been running for a month or two/three...i think PopEx was started by the infamous Pauly (also set up NME chatroom) and for some reason i thought he also worked for the BBC so this would all make sense - but i could be totally wrong here

B-b-but PopEx was ripped off the Hollywood Stock Exchange who the BBC are working with on the agreed awfully named Celebdaq.

(I just spoke to an old buffer journo at the Daily Mail and need my ear syringed now).

I think Pauly said something a while back about doing some work for the BBC, so I very much suspect this is it.

The fact that I was one of the first ten people on popEx is the most absurdly pathetic thing I have ever felt proud of.
