he always struck me as funny, and common and caring deeply about what happens in our everyday life, about text and the sentiments and nostalgia that comes along with that, he is both a sentimentalist and a ruthless destroyer of sentiment. i love him-do you?

I love him too; especially 'Los Angeles County Museum of Art On Fire'.

To be a good driver, you need to see well. In order to see, drivers must be alert to what is going on around them. You must look down the road, to the sides and behind your vehicle, and be alert for unexpected events. Many accidents occur because drivers do not pay enough attention to their driving. Do not take your eyes off the road for more than a few seconds at any one time. For example, if you need to look at a map, pull safely off the road. Do not try to read the map while you are driving.

In order a good leader, you see good must. In order to see, must the ladder be attentively on which it around it ignites. They must under the way, to which sides and behind their carrier watch out, and are attentive for the unexpected cases. Many accidents happen, because the ladder on seins for line do not direct sufficient attention. It does not take its eyes of the way for more than some seconds in any one hour. E.G. if you must watch out a diagram, them delete reliably from the way. It does not try to read the diagram while you lead.

Yes he is great - his "as in the anatomy of man" post-Selma thing is just brutally resonant

Big Ed Ruscha fan, all the art in our flat (that I am responsioble) is Ruscha. The Paidon book from a couple of years ago is absolutely awesome (though it doesn't, as they try to suggest, read in any way like a novel).

I have Wee Wee in the bathroom.

Pete (Pete), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 13:32 (twenty-three years ago)

He's got a way with words, innit. Pete, is that 'They Called Her Styrene'? Mmmmm got that in the summer from the Serpentine bookshop. So much artporn in that place it's untrue.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 13:40 (twenty-three years ago)

I have hacked my copy of They Call her styrene to bits, but they do make really good snappy pictures, presents etc....

Pete (Pete), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 13:52 (twenty-three years ago)

Eeeee! Do not kill the book! I can't even bring myself to destroy Brian Aldiss' latest that my reviewer friend gave to me (SF slave) and which ENRAGES me with its rubbishness. I will give it to a charity shop for some poor fool to pay 25p for. Killing musical instruments (even if you are John Cage) is also dud.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Tuesday, 17 December 2002 13:56 (twenty-three years ago)

The book is not killed. It has a "New Lease Of Life" - ie rather than all the lovely art been hidden between the covers, it is on my and other friends walls. I must admit I baulked when I attcked it with a scapel for the first time, but I am very happy I did.
