I'll be in LA (hopefully) by the 23rd... then leave either evening of 26th or morning of 27th to make it to Carmel (NEDDY POO!), then SF on the 28th and 29th... then hopefully back to Seattle by the 31st.

In brief, trip so far is gorgeous. Clear to partly cloudy skies and snow everywhere. Nice nice. Thanks to fragile Cal Trans and the mountain passes being closed in the Shastas, and having a gas attendant notice a screw puncturing my back tire, I got to know Ashland, Oregon really well for a while. It's actually a great town, but stranger the more you explore.

Oh yeah, I-5 can eat a dick. Fuck it. I'm taking the eastern Californian mtns. back home to L.A... Windy, gorgeous snowy mtns. and hills? Or brake-pedal illiterate assholes on a major freeway causing accidents every 30 miles make traffic shitty for entire days? I'm happy with choosing the former, thank you.

SPENCER, CHAKI, ETc. I will be in L.A. by the 23rd! Respond here! I'd love to do a nite thang.

Well, update... Spencer and I got to hang out at the Library Alehouse, Circle bar, and that sports place across the street from it, in Santa Monica last night, talked, had a good time, had interesting run-ins with certain bar people.. heh heh. SPENCER IST RAD. He's persuaded me to give L.A. more cred than I gave it before... which, if you know me, is a pretty amazing feat. (Can I mention how perfect the weather in L.A. is right now? 40s to 60s F... little smog... crystal clear... L.A. winters are the best)

POSSIBLE follow-up FAP LA on the 26th. (CHAKI, GETCHO ASS OUTTA SIMI VALLEY!)

Can't wait til the 27th in Carmel for the NED-In...(or should that be Ned-Inn?)

Mi amigo Jef aka Nightclub Dwight will be DJing tonite at Dr. Bombay's. (Here is the flyer.) I'll be there ALL NIGHT, for sure. NO COVER. Drinks are reasonably priced.

What do you think about a time to hang out? Dr. Bombay's opens at 4pm (no Dj then), so i'm open to being there earlier like 9pm, if that's cool. I'll try to e-mail you all separately if possible.

(I know the weather in the Bay Area right now is shitty... so I really hope to see as many of you as possible)
