Busy!

dan (dan), Saturday, 21 December 2002 21:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Predictably, I'll be around. Me, have anything better to do? Har. (Well, ignoring all the work stuff I should already have done and all the geeky tech reading I should do if I don't want to look a complete fool when I get new stuff to do in January, but ignoring it is indeed my general policy.)

Poor Chupa, get well soon.

Rebecca (reb), Sunday, 22 December 2002 02:10 (twenty-three years ago)

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Sunday, 22 December 2002 15:31 (twenty-three years ago)

I'll be here. Expect a lot of drunken posting from me. Hooray!

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Sunday, 22 December 2002 23:34 (twenty-three years ago)

I'll try and post from home if I can get the damn pooter to work, it's having a bit of a breakdown at the moment. I'm working today, tomorrow and Friday though, so hopefully somebody will be around....

smee (smee), Monday, 23 December 2002 15:37 (twenty-three years ago)

prolly pop into the library to use their pooters some time between Christmas and New Year, but I can't be 100% certain of this. There will be no more large-scale posting until I get back at work on 6th January (and possibly not even then if the IT dept don't get the servers up and running in our new building).

MarkH (MarkH), Monday, 23 December 2002 15:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 09:53 (twenty-three years ago)

I will be at constant toil.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 09:58 (twenty-three years ago)

hi nick dastoor

rainy (rainy), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 10:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm here but only til twelve. Then I have to face a treck up north on the coach, leaving Vicky to decorate her lovely new new house. This makes me sad.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 10:17 (twenty-three years ago)

Hello kind rainy.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 10:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Hello N and Cabbage. I am dossing about until the tannoy announcement around midday which says ' you are cordially invited to have a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie with management' . So at 12.01 we all hit the pub, leaving the cockfarming management to their stupid mince pies all by their cockfarming selves.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 10:53 (twenty-three years ago)

DR C IS STILL A PUNK

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 10:56 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm gonna kick the Christmas tree over before I go.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 10:58 (twenty-three years ago)

I now have PC access for about a week, as I'm staying at my parent's place. before this for a month I've only had pay places to go on ILX.

spectra, Tuesday, 24 December 2002 11:07 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm waiting for twelve thirty when I can run out and cross from Uxbridge to Victoria with far too many bags of pressies. My coach is at three thirty so I think I'll make it. Can anyone give me a tube review? how busy are they and how barmy am I going to go at dawdlers and pi$$ed up tw@s

chris (chris), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 11:09 (twenty-three years ago)

I just decorated the little xmas tree. It's alive and growing (it's in a pot) so it spiked me ouchily so I didn't put many hanging things on, just lots of tinsel, and NOTHING RED 'cause I despise that colour. What should I put on the top? My dad tried to put a knitted Noddy but I wouldn't let him 'cause Noddy's hat is red and he kept falling off. Hey I think my parents are breaking up after thirty years! and it's just me and them here for xmas! I have no friends whatsoever anywhere near me.

spectra, Tuesday, 24 December 2002 11:12 (twenty-three years ago)

I'll swap ya, you can face 30 drunken relatives sans boyf and try to explain his abscence....

smee (smee), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 11:21 (twenty-three years ago)

i'll be here till about midday today, then OFF for a few days while i EAT LOTS OF FOOD at me mam's. have a lovely crimbo everyone & see you next year!

katie xxxx (katie), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 11:25 (twenty-three years ago)

okay, yeah, you can have my boyfriend who hates my guts! if he still is my boyfriend

spectra, Tuesday, 24 December 2002 12:39 (twenty-three years ago)

oh spectra :-(

rainy (rainy), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 12:43 (twenty-three years ago)

most likely me. suzy can have her computer back when she PRIES IT FROM MY COLD DEAD FINGERS!!!

i'm not even sure if i'm going to ex-pat's xmas at the house of slack this afternoon due to major email sniping with my bassist. :-(

all i want for xmas is a new band...

kate, Tuesday, 24 December 2002 12:46 (twenty-three years ago)

Spectra, I take back my offer, he might not be around but he doesn't hate my guts.
I'm sure there's bright side to all this, honest....

smee (smee), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 12:50 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm sorry I wrote that; I couldn't contain myself; iit was very scuzzy to do to him because people on here know him, and they might think he's mean & horrible especially because he's a man and I'm not. So I'm sorry it isn't true.

spectra, Tuesday, 24 December 2002 13:07 (twenty-three years ago)

I know he's not mean and horrible, I just thought you sounded so terribly sad. I hope things work out.

rainy (rainy), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 13:11 (twenty-three years ago)

There's hardly anyone around anyway, by the time everyone comes back after Christmas it'll be long forgotten. Don't worry.

I hope you have a good Christmas Spectra, mine isn't gonna be the happiest but I'm gonna make the best of it, hope you do too.

smee (smee), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 13:12 (twenty-three years ago)

I don't considr it "Christmas" really well not as anything resembling the at least partly enjoyable one I've had in the past; it's just to endure, and now it's just extra trillion million bits of pain to "endure". Thanks though for the nice comments.

spectra, Tuesday, 24 December 2002 13:16 (twenty-three years ago)

sorry that should say enjoyable ones!

okay so waojiofroiajdsfoljdsalkjfl;iiiiiiii;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; it is not fruitful or fair to despair in public? it is not fair to despair in public especially when it's Xmas I kniow I don't beleieve in that it's not the worst incredibly damaging thing to have to slowly slowly scrape YOURSELF together when you are so fucked up but what about when you havee no choice, oh well. Sorry.

spectra, Tuesday, 24 December 2002 13:21 (twenty-three years ago)

Well I'm off, have a good one.

smee (smee), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 13:32 (twenty-three years ago)

this will prolly be the last from me. See you at the FAP on the 29th Graham! Have a grebt cockfarming Christmas!

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 24 December 2002 13:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Also, the film is said to depict Phoenix "snorting cocaine, ordering call girls, having oral sex with a publicist, treating his assistants abusively and rapping badly."

nakhchivan, Friday, 17 June 2011 23:56 (fifteen years ago)

fuck anyone rapping badly

phantompenguin, Saturday, 18 June 2011 00:04 (fifteen years ago)

I saw it, it was pretty terrible. I like the song "I'm Still Here" though

Pompoussin (admrl), Saturday, 18 June 2011 00:06 (fifteen years ago)

I liked it, in a calculatedly disorganized way.

It's hard to tell who is and isn't in on it at some points, and they're obviously annoying P Diddy and a few others.

mh, Saturday, 18 June 2011 00:19 (fifteen years ago)

Watch it as a double feature with Exit Through the Gift Shop!

mh, Saturday, 18 June 2011 00:19 (fifteen years ago)

Bit of a weird thread to revive for this purpose. Are people allergic to starting new threads?

Bloompsday (Trayce), Saturday, 18 June 2011 02:58 (fifteen years ago)

I am, yes. Maybe there should be a poll asking that question, but I'm not starting it.

StanM, Saturday, 18 June 2011 03:07 (fifteen years ago)

unsettling thread indeed.

MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T BE LIVING HERE!! (Local Garda), Saturday, 18 June 2011 15:44 (fifteen years ago)

― Bloompsday (Trayce), Saturday, 18 June 2011 03:58 (14 hours ago)

awww trayce i thought it was rather in the spirit of the age to save the database server a few nanojoules of energy reindexing and retrofit this old thread

also i think you will find i am not allergic to starting new threads

nakhchivan, Saturday, 18 June 2011 18:01 (fifteen years ago)

five years pass...

this is a brilliant movie that is unlike any other and can never be replicated
