I am annoyed because the weather forecasters always say "it's gonna rain but at least it's going to be mild". I want it to be cold!!!!

they always get snow in Northumberland, where my girlfriend's family lives. Down here in Oxford I doubt if we'll get any before the year is out and quite possibly we won't in Jan or Feb either. CJ's OTM, snow on Christmas Day followed by warm days thereafter would be grebt. Roll on Weather Control a la Judge Dredd!

would be nice if it could snow just enough for it to be pretty, but not enough to have to shovel or do excessive car cleaning/scraping. then for the weather to stay just cold enough for the snow to stay, but not windy or blustery or anything.

i am annoyed because i was just in a petrol station shop, and whilst I was in there some dude walked in and out with 8 cans of beer without paying. As the shopkeepers stood agasp I asked will he be on the cctv, they said yeah but the cops probly won't do anything about it.

i) what is the point in cctv?
ii) what is the point in cops?

seriously, did our laws suddenly changed for small time shoplifting. Or is the shopkeeper misinformed.

^^^ is an exchange that should be a text not a damn phone call. You know i'm at work, be very very easy to deal with your inquiry without making me answer my phone in the middle of the office. I could not answer my phone, sure, but i do.

The opposite (when someone tries to organise an entire evening's activities from scratch in the most complicated, convoluted fashion resulting in about a dozen texts going back and forth) could be dealt with in a thirty second phone call. Why do people still not get this?
