I am stuck in a house full of hippees, or: Seth Speaks

Has anyone read any of the Jane Roberts & Seth books?

I am staying with someone who has a bunch of them, over 18, and always talks about Seth and his words. She used to be a very interesting person but now she is practically chanelling Seth in that everything she says comes form one of those books. This makes me sad. I've never actually read them.

She also inspired my other two threads.

My mom has 'conversations with Seth.' Though I think channeled entities=DUD.

Seth, the comic book guy? (am I admitting my ignorance?)...I thought "It's a good life if you don't weaken" was very poigant. Though I'm not such a fan of his latest stuff about a 1950's fan salesman.

I like the other Seth infinitely better--a friend of Chester Brown is a friend of mine.

I remember several of those books being on my father's shelves... looked through them and thought they were foolish. My dad didn't read them... some associate of his gave them to him. I doubt I would have ever thought of them again if it weren't for this post.
