And I really don't see what GLAAD are up in arms about...did someone remove the word "satire" from their dictionary? Anyone who leaves that movie thinking that it encourages homophobia either wasn't paying attention, or is lacking certain cognitive abilities.

But you're right about GLAAD, or any super-political activist organization, really. They don't like anything at all, it's like they've had their senses of sarcasm and satire removed entirely.
Though Jay & Silent Bob the Movie probably still sucks, for entirely different reasons.

i can actually see why glaad singled this film out out of the kevin smith oeuvre. the problem isn't with smith but with the audience: half the crowd were high school kids enjoying their last days of vacation who've tired of seeing american pie 2 each weekend, while the other half were kevin smith fans who "got" the jokes.

Don't worry, we still haven't seen Summer Catch or Bubble Boy, and Jeepers Creepers comes out Friday. The weekend still has promise.

Anyhow, Bubble Boy, that's happening, we have to go see that. I'm still mad about this Jay & Silent Bob & Judd Nelson shit though.
Anthony, stop this outrageous behavior! *slap*
