Hex Induction

Many years ago when I was living in Manchester a friend and I went to our local pub. We soon got chatting to an old black guy, and after a while some kids come up and tell us not to shake his hand, whatever we do. A little later he offers us his hand to shake, and much to the boys' protests, we both accept. My friend and I then start to play pool. During the first game a man walks into the pub, comes up to me for no apparent reason and punches me in the head, knocking me unconscious. I come around sometime later with a pint of Guinness in my hand and spend the next week in bed rather dazed.

So whaddya reckon, unfortunate coincidence or witchcraft? Any similar experiences?

I could talk about the SCA-loving crew I lived with once who had one spooky experience too many. Thankfully it didn't affect me, but at one point there the fate of the universe was being decided in our apartment. I had doubts about this.

Hmm...later. Right now I'm too busy quietly celebrating what should hopefully be my condo purchase. ;-)

Hey this always happens, every time I'm gonna start a thread someone else has done it THAT VERY DAY. Ooo-ee-oo, SPOOKY. I wuz gonna call my one "BURN WITCH BURN" & I was gonna tell the story of how one time this girl in Christchurch came up to me in a cafe & very seriously told me that she knew that I had been practicing some kinda hoodoo crap to make her wanna get w/ me, & it was very unfair & I must stop doin it. I told her w/ max sincerity that OK I would. (didn't wanna debunk any ideas that I possess such powers, I figured some day having ppl believe this might prove useful).

I think you should have set up a full scale well documented investigation, Johnathan. I am disappointed. You will never know if it was coincidence, witchcraft, or the will of god.

Actually, maybe I *will* tell the story, that purchase fell through. Bah! Damn lawsuits! Anyway, tomorrow or something, names changed to protect the guilty, etc.

Yes girls always come up to me and tell them to stop casting my spell over them. Particularly while their asleep, that drives them mad. I apologise for this posting in advance,
