Could somebody tell me what the FUCK is the point of going on holiday when EVERYBODY ELSE is going at the same time? Reminds me of that old Talmudic conundrum, "Do mosquitoes go to heaven?" Aaarrghh!

What is public transport like on Bank Boliday Mondays these days?

If I make plans to get from Oxford to Bristol by late morning/noonish, will it all end in tears (train delays, coaches too full to let me on) or regrets (standing jammed into someone's armpit in front of the toilet door all the way with a big pile of luggage I have to shuffle around every station and every time someone wants the loo)?
