Does anyone have all of The Reader, the 8-page strip that remains the funniest long work I ever wrote? Like a fool, I lost it soon after making it. I'm experimenting with the Wayback Machine but it won't reach far enough...

Al Ewing (Al Ewing), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 00:06 (twenty-three years ago)

I had it saved on my old computer, but the computer died. Sorry...

Nicole (Nicole), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 00:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Fat use! Still, I appreciate the thought. The Wayback Machine can't do a thing for me, so I'm now reliant on ILE...

five months pass...
Did Al ever find this? I was kind of hoping I could read it again.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 11 July 2003 17:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe it's in archive.org?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 11 July 2003 17:43 (twenty-two years ago)

That is the wayback machine, dumbass.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 17:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Aren't you supposed to be rescuing the President?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 11 July 2003 18:50 (twenty-two years ago)

He couldn't even rescue the president of the Hair Club for Men!

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Snake is cool, faux-Snake drools.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Is Snake a product of Momus and N.'s brief and tawdry love affair? Does N. pay child support?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:03 (twenty-two years ago)

ARRRR!

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Does N. pay child support?

He's a scrub, silly.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 11 July 2003 19:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Now I get this image of him hanging in the passenger side of his best friend's ride, tooling around East Kilbride.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:02 (twenty-two years ago)

East Kilbride is getting a Zara soon so maybe.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 11 July 2003 20:58 (twenty-two years ago)

haha Ned said 'East Kilbride'!

Cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 12 July 2003 11:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Al the good news is I have all of it, why didn't you just ask me in the pub you menko?

The bad news though is that the computer I have it on has a broken internal modem so I may have to use those horrible disk things to get it to you.
