(I have a beautiful image to insert here, but the HTML checker is STILL fucked.)

is there a bit of hysteria building around this whole thing? i've heard variations on "they need to take his kids away" from so many co-workers, but other than the baby-dangling and sleeping in the same room as little boys, what has he done to make him an unfit dad? (hard-working "other than" there)

Fritz Wollner (Fritz), Friday, 7 February 2003 16:58 (twenty-three years ago)

That guy RULES.

I don't know if this stuff is still available, but it was ten years ago, in green glass bottles. It was awful, but it was sooo cool.

focus, people, focus!

Fritz Wollner (Fritz), Friday, 7 February 2003 16:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Would you like me to psychoanalyze him?
Denied childhood= obsessed w/anything related to childhood.
Abused and not accepted by father= low self-esteem, shy, w/drawn
teased and made to feel incredibly self-conscious about appearance= gets enough money to do something about his appearance, but it backfires on him= once again teased and made to feel incredibly self-conscious about looks= unrepairable damage (to psyche and face)

perfect example of (nearly) unlimited resources met with (nearly) unlimited opportunity and complete lack of imagination (at least since Thriller, which, let's face it, wasn't THAT great.)

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 7 February 2003 17:04 (twenty-three years ago)

the thing is he's just "in touch with his inner child" - he's just the outer limits extension of the most basic hollywood speilberg ET feel-goodism and they want to lynch him for it

(insert "in touch with inner child" joke here)

Fritz Wollner (Fritz), Friday, 7 February 2003 17:11 (twenty-three years ago)

horace, "complete lack of imagination" is about the last accusation you could level at that dude

Fritz Wollner (Fritz), Friday, 7 February 2003 17:12 (twenty-three years ago)

and thriller "not that great" = crazy talk

Fritz Wollner (Fritz), Friday, 7 February 2003 17:13 (twenty-three years ago)

*sigh* Another culture-based television reference that I did not participate in, like the O.J. chase and the O.J. Trial and ... wow, the list really is longer, but I'll be damned if I can think of what they are.

Lack of imagination: did you see the curios he was buying in Vegas?

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 7 February 2003 17:52 (twenty-three years ago)

P Diddy!

Here's the burning question I was left with after watching:

Is it right to sleep in the same bed as someone else's dog? I think it's kinda creepy

Oops (Oops), Friday, 7 February 2003 18:49 (twenty-three years ago)

How effed up do you have to be to seriously offer Liz Taylor as a charactor reference?
