It's cool as hell. The Basques invented it. The highest recorded speed of the pelota is 188 MPH!

You have to be insane to play this, I would love to be able to though.

People gamble on this, no?

I've been to a game, they had it in CT. Yes, gambling.

Alas, it is gone. All I see now when I drive by that area on I-91 is THE GOLD CLUB and EROTIC FANTASIES. I never went. Boo hiss.

Classic when done by Knoxville, Steve-o and a shitload of oranges.

I reckon I'd be quite handy at this, I want a go. But I wouldn't be Knoxville, that looked like it really really hurt.

I used to have a childhood fascination with Jai-Alai, Miami Vice, and Knight Rider. I would draw pictures of Jai-Alai players with my father. Very happy memories.

I once tried to throw a pelota from a cesta. It's very difficult to do. Like riding a unicycle. It takes some getting used to.

eight years pass...

Why have I never heard of this sport called Jai-Alai? This stuff is great! I'm going to have nightmares about it.

I've only heard of it from Mad Men.

Oh, they do that on that show?

Classic for appearing in crosswords puzzles more often than in corporeal form.
