I've just heard about some really good travel deal via British Airways that I might be able to use for the trip -- I know it's in November...

I know he was planning on a reception for friends (if he'll have me *sniff*) since the wedding itself was apparently fully booked by family etc, and I'm going over there no matter what -- but I certainly won't mind if I can get over there on the cheap. ;-)

The reception/party will be mid-October. Wedding start of November. Anyone mental enough to make it over for the October party will of course be welcome!

Mid-October? Sounds good! Can you nail down anything more than that or is it still up in the air? (There's a really good deal via British Airways -- $200 roundtrip, apparently -- that is about to expire, I gather.)

prices for these time frames have been super good recently. last month, travelocity was offering round trips to most of western europe for under 350 from the u.s.
