The only time I ever encountered a water bed, it was amazing at first, but, when it came to actually trying to get to sleep I ended up on the little single bed in the corner of the room, it was making me feel very icky indeed, so, dud.

i had a waterbed in 1998. it was my first flatting experience and i didn't have a bed so my auntie and uncle gave me a waterbed. it was perfectly comfortable to sleep in, until i had another person in it regularly.

waterbeds are actually pretty sensible if you live in dunedin, cos its really fucking cold down here and my waterbed kept my whole bedroom warm. i didn't need a heater that winter.

and hey, theres nothing wrong with tiger print sheets either!
