Feeling slightly nervous now, three days till I'm in the classroom and teaching at Dartford Tech(feeling woefully underprepared), plus the move to London. Any other ILE'ers had/having similar experiences?

I'm sure you'll adapt and be quite happy.

Within the scope of a month at the turn of last year, I engineered moving out of Orange County (CA) to Seattle. Still, if you would have asked me a year ago that I'd be living here right now, I would have laughed at you and sent you on your way.

Major occupational/locale changes in life -- especially those that you initiate -- are an important part of growing up, me thinks. Congrats!

What Brian's not saying is that I threw him out on his ear for making too many drunken and lecherous suggestions to me, the strumpet. But he seems to have done well in that Babylon of the North that is Seattle. Vanity, vanity, all is vanity.

Grown up hmmmmmmm not to sure about that ;-) I flip between being really scared/nervous and looking forward to getting out of my hometown. Also I find it hard to believe that I'm becoming a 'proper' teacher.....very strange given that I feel about 16 yrs old sometimes..
