Sorry, di. At least your car had a cool name.

Ever read the story about how my last car died by going up in flames?

Sarah McLusky (coco), Friday, 7 March 2003 20:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Ugh, had a car die on me while driving once, too, and it had to be hauled away to the great parking lot in the sky (the engine fused together when the fuse blew on the warning light system, and I didn't see it overheating, eeek). Do you know what the problem is? I hope it can be fixed, and cheap!

thank you people for reminding me of the humour in this situation. no i didn't read that, sarah, that must've been reallly frightening. sean: hopefully my dad'll be able to do something with her. i have no idea what the problem is. i was very lucky in that lots of people were able to help me, humans ain't so bad after all, eh.

design the new car for a woman

Mike Hanle y (mike), Saturday, 8 March 2003 03:21 (twenty-three years ago)

di - is a car really necessary in dunners?

Clare (not entirely unhappy), Saturday, 8 March 2003 21:47 (twenty-three years ago)

i can survive without my car, but you wouldn't have asked that question if you'd met georgina. having a car makes things a lot easier since a) i live at the top of a gigantic hill, and b) i work in south dunedin.

di smith (lucylurex), Sunday, 9 March 2003 21:00 (twenty-three years ago)

sorry to hear it. do you think the hilliness of dunners had anything to do with killing yr car? my friends, who used to live near the top of duncan street, had trouble w/ their car and had to retire it.

Clare (not entirely unhappy), Sunday, 9 March 2003 21:17 (twenty-three years ago)

yes i think the hilliness of dunedin had a lot to do with my car dying, especially since she conked out while i was halfway up a hill in a spot notorious for killing cars.

this reminds me of me :( transmission

chaki (chaki), Sunday, 9 March 2003 21:25 (twenty-three years ago)

cars are more trouble than they are worth. oh that i'd become a mechanic instead of a lousy indykid.

All you need is a spanner and a Haynous Book of lies for your car.
