IRC Commands, what were they again?

I googled "essential IRC commands" but turned up pure shit.

I want to know (because I forgot) what the basic format was, as well as specific commands, for:

searching servers
listing channels
joining channels
displaying rules for channels
searching channels for specific files
getting files
navigating in and out of directories and subdirectories

I remember you had to act fast or you'd get kicked out, but I can't remember the basic stuff.

I know I used eskimo.net and typed in stuff like:
/join #butthead
/rules
/find
/get
/..

but I'm having troubles. I was able to get on a random server and list it's channels, but that's it.

what was the

/dcc one and stuff like that? There was this whole quick system I had to find robots, ask them to list their contents, enter their directories and subdirectories and then back out of the hierarchy and grab files when I wanted. You have to be quick because some of the better robots boot you if you to take more than 5 seconds or screw up a command (and some won't let you back in once you screw up).

"/ctcp nickname !sometrigger" to access someone's fserve.
From there, it's navigation through DOS commands, "cd [directory]", "dir" to list the files in directory, and "get [filename]".
