March is a rotten month for me as regards outgoings - I've just had a massive council tax bill, electricity bill, phone bill, car tax to pay and car insurance due. So I thought it would be good to make a list of all the good things in life that are free (or very cheap) in an effort to remember how great things are really. Such as :
1. Hot showers - just feeling that hot water pounding away tension and stress, especially when the water hits that bit at the back of your neck. Bliss. And singing at the top of your voice to your shower radio!
2. Developing a crush on someone; wondering if they are thinking about you too in 'that way'; thinking about them all the time.
3. The first coat-less, hat-and-scarf-less sunny day after winter.
4. WEEKENDS!!!!
5. Jumping up and down on your bed while playing air-guitar, when no-one's looking.
6. Driving with the top down on a sunny day with the radio blasting.
7. Making a new friend.
8. Helping someone, without any thought to them paying you back, like giving up your seat on the bus to an elderly person.
Can anyone think of other free things in life to enjoy? What warms your heart and lifts your spirits?

Just a simple hello from people when you walk down the street is great. Happens all the time to me. Doing something nice for someone else and seeing them smile also makes me smile. Just to see other people happy. Spending a lazy Sunday in bed. Of course this is free only if you don't have a hangover. Watching sunsets. Walking along the beach on a hot or cold day. Walking through the forest. The best free thing in life has got to be nature.

When I was younger I had a teddy named shnuggles. I still have her now. A big fluffy rabbit. Very cuddly.

having just completed some important test/interview/argument etc. and having fuck-all to do for the rest of the day but chill, go to the bar, hang out with friends etc. Doesn't last too long, but great for a while.
