It changed my life, verily.

I can't say it's changed my life, but it's a v. v. nice feature. Kudos.

I've yet to work out what it does.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 17 March 2003 09:08 (twenty-three years ago)

It's a time travel device.

Matt, it marks the thread as unread from that post on, so if you come across something and don't want it to drift away (because you want to make a lengthy reply later), you can click later and it will appear that you haven't already read it. Very handy, and a great idea.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 17 March 2003 12:46 (twenty-three years ago)

In that case, much praise to Graham.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 17 March 2003 12:49 (twenty-three years ago)

It is nice, because the big issy-you threads where there are a hundred lengthy posts in the course of an hour are really too much to handle at once (unless you have hours to spare).

Very good feature indeed.
