Angry kittens are delightful. I like to let them knaw on my fingers. Then they grow up and bite down much harder, and it's all my fault for letting them bite me when they are tiny. But what can you do?

I don't either. It just hurts more now.

They also scratch me, but not intentionally. Pepper will be laying on my stomach while I watch tv. Then something will startle her and she'll jump up really fast, claws outstretched. I have two long scratch marks on my chest and belly that look like I had some sort of surgery.

I think cats are the only pets that are allowed to attempt evisceration on a regular basis (besides maybe ferrets).

My ex's cat Koshka would bite lightly -- barely pressing the skin, never mind not breaking it -- to indicate that she was pissed off about something.
