I thought it was okay, pretty good even.

It seemed like a sequel, but the sequel to the film rather than to the book. Dianne turning up coincidentally for no good reason and being the one girl Renton seems to remember only really works in the context of the film, as her part in that's a lot bigger... overall, a wierd experience that probably won't survive the inevitable transition to celluloid.
