I listen to a lot of Live365 stations. The sound quality is bad, but you get to hear more idiosyncratic mixes of things.

It depends on what kind of music you like. Lately, I've been listening to The Bassment . I surf around for college radio. I'll be back with a few more suggestions in a bit.

I used to listen to 3WK (www.3wk.com). If I weren't so broke I'd get a computer that's worthy of my cable modem and start listening again!

I do like that Village Voice radio, actually. Normally I don't care for freeform so much, but there is a pleasant breadth there.

i have started to listen online again, and my favorites are from Louisiana. Like WWOZ. And this really rural station I don't recall at the moment.

A great list of classical streaming sites - the Hungarian one (Radio Bartok or something like that) is really good, and I also enjoy listening to the sound of the Hungarian language during the breaks.
