But the Canadians, wow. Everything I've seen or heard from there recently seems to rest on the premise of "We've been the most safely insulated li'l comfy womby retreat from the world forever [who do you think paid for that, fucksticks?] and nobody's going to change that, leave us alone!" See surface-skimmers thread. Example 1 being how I notice that when Canucks are shot somewhere in the world it shows up on CNN, and CBC buries it. Might upset someone prolly. (Unless the attitudes at home are totally different than the ones I'm getting online and otherwise?)
