American Motors' AMX/3, meant to be a mid-engined exotic Corvette-killer but shelved when production costs and the news of a much less expensive competitor in the De Tomaso Pantera arose. Only about three working examples still exist today. Apparently one of them is stashed in somebody's barn, decrepit and covered in chicken shit.
