HTML and my inability to grasp it

Yes i cant drive and i barely know how to type bu twhat is it about posting a picture that is so difficult to grasp. Give me a step by step guide pllllease as i feel so thickie at present

if you want to post a picture that is already on another webpage, you just need to right click on that image, select 'properties' and copy and paste the URL (web address) of the image. then paste this link into the message box on this board and make sure you put a lower case i before the http:// with no spaces

to post a URL you just need to type or paste any URL into the message box and it will appear as a link e.g. http://www.google.com

you can just view the source code of this page to see how to post links like THIS

stevem has a good point: if you want to see how part of a web page is done, 'view source' (or its equivalent) is your friend.

I'm rubbish at any kind of programming, but basic HTML is easy. It must be if I can manage any of it.

I remember my first-ever program:

10 print "bollocks"
20 goto10
