Mentalist moment regarding moving and refrigerators

I had friends over the other night, and the subject of moving came up. I was telling them how much I hated moving back in the LA/OC area because every time I moved, I had to arrange to either buy or move a new or used refrigerator. Everyone was stunned in silence.. followed by:

"YOU HAVE TO ARRANGE TO MOVE A REFRIGERATOR EVERY TIME YOU MOVE INTO A NEW PLACE TO RENT? WHAT KIND OF FUCKED UP SHIZZIT IS THIS???"

Who are the bigger mentalists? My friends? or the greater Los Angeles area apartment complexes?

The greater LA area apt complexes. Fridge comes with the flat, or at least that's my experience. But hey, if you keep having to buy new fridges, maybe that's better for the economy. I always wonder whenver I go into an appliance store who the hell buys fridges besides people moving into their first home or people with old broken ones. Now I know.

I change fridges more often than I change my socks

I've been lucky that every rental i've moved into was furnished with appliances. This is not always the case.

True enough. DB, think of it this way: you're exercising each time you move your fridge. (Saying that, I've never needed to do it myself.)

"Yeah baby, WORK THAT FRIDGE."

Wow, in NYC apartments were legally obliged to come with fridges. LA is all fux0red up.
