When GWB said More than 35 countries are giving crucial support from the use of naval and air bases to help with intelligence and logistics to deployment of combat units. who was he counting as the 35 countries? There seems to be some confusion over whether New Zealand is a part of this; we officially oppose the war (albeit in the most spineless way possible), but we appear to be contributing a frigate (Te Mana) and a massive spystation (Waihopai). And was he including the Principality of Sealand?

yeah i think te mana's up to no good myself.

Fear the armed might of Eritrea.

What other use could the Waihopai station be, anyway?

That's kind of a crap pun, too

They said at a press conference the other day that some countries like to not have their support made public. Kind of like 'Does a lot of work for charity, doesn't like to talk about it' but with arms rather than.. alms.

I meant "have" or something I guess, anyway.

>Fear the armed might of Eritrea.

Eritrea fought an incredible WWII-style war for freedom against Ethiopia. They even had women fighting in front line combat. Not that they would be of any use in the Iraq war.

Mea Maxima Culpa, though I was aware of the Eritrean conflict. looking down the list of the non-combatant coalition members the vast majority have been involved in conflict within recent years, so the joke would have backfired no matter who I picked. Nevertheless cheap shot etc. Fear the armed might of Sealand.

Apparently they won a war in 1978. They claim to have a lot of security now due to their harbouring of child pr0n servers.
