Well, I have to check my site activity every day (even though it gets very few hits), on the off-chance someone's left an offensive remark on there. (It's happened a couple of times.) How boring is that.

I use google often for 'research,' but am frequently frustrated with the lack of helpful results.

Anything else is in the air. My boredom factor plays a part.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 15:57 (twenty-three years ago)

Hotmail and google news, usually a couple of papers like nytimes.com or the guardian too.

Nicole (Nicole), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 16:01 (twenty-three years ago)

Okay, I can't remember what it's called. Maybe the Free Press or something. A friend of mine was writing for them and doing what appeared to be very entertaining columns, but she was laid off about 2 months ago. I just wanted to see if you had read her stuff and what you thought of it.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 16:02 (twenty-three years ago)

oh, and my two likes are:
http://www.elvis.com for the Graceland Cam--nothing like watching fat tourists waddle up the front steps

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 16:03 (twenty-three years ago)

The Free Press is the big Winnipeg paper, which I subscribe to (I live in Winnipeg). What was her name?

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 16:06 (twenty-three years ago)

damn, of course. that's why I was thinking the FP. Her name's Tanis Fowler.
And the paper, whatever it is/was called, was located in a mall. Which made her sad.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 25 March 2003 16:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Tanis Fowler? http://www.wheatcityjournal.ca/wheatcontact.html
