Stop talking about Joe Pesci movies, people. Please.
-- Anthony Miccio (anthonymicci...), March 25th, 2003.

BUT WHAT ABOUT MY COUSIN VINNY? HOME ALONE? THAT ONE WHERE HE WAS THE HOMELESS GUY AT A COLLEGE AND MADONNA SANG A SONG ABOUT IT? HUH? IS HE A CLOWN TO YOU?

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:42 (twenty-three years ago)

Taking sides: Joe Pesci in Goodfellas vs. Christopher Walken in King of New York.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Walken. If you're going to be ridiculous, be ridiculous.

gabbneb (gabbneb), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:48 (twenty-three years ago)

He's always ridiculous, it's great. Christopher Walken in The Dead Zone is the greatest performance ever put on film. Did you ever see him on SNL doing a parody of The Dead Zone where he told people only inconsequential things that were going to happen to them? That was class thru and thru.

But enough about that, more about With Honors.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:49 (twenty-three years ago)

He is like fingernails on a chalkboard in the Lethal Weapon sequels.

bnw (bnw), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:51 (twenty-three years ago)

Okay then -- Mudhoney was asked by Madonna's crew to contribute a song to the soundtrack at the point when some character, I guess some jock type, was running around for his exercise or something. The guide music on the copy of the film the band got was EMF's "Unbelievable." Mudhoney complied and submitted a song called "Run Shithead Run."

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:54 (twenty-three years ago)

Christopher Walken...is...a GOD...among men. Truly...one of the most...unBEATable...perSOnas...to grace the silver screen. I LOVE him like a psychotic UNcle.

Joe Pesci? Eh, fuck you that's Joe Pesci! Joe Pesci gonna come over there and kick yer stinkin' little ASS is what Joe Pesci's gonna do! You ever wish a chihuaha could TAWLK? Well, dis one can!

Joe Pesci IS Tiger Woods:

btw, I love that Mudhoney anecdote. March To Fuzz would be worth it for the liner notes alone.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:56 (twenty-three years ago)

Haha, I like it that Ned actually can say more about With Honors.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:58 (twenty-three years ago)

The funny thing is that Patrick Dempsey may be MORE annoying than Pesci in that movie. Just barely.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 03:59 (twenty-three years ago)

there are few people more annoying than Patrick Dempsey. He may even have Joe Pantoliano beat.

gabbneb (gabbneb), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:05 (twenty-three years ago)

don't dis Joey Pants! One of my favorite lines ever is from one of his worst films, Congo: "talking ape? The money hairs on the back of my head are going woo woo woo!"

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:06 (twenty-three years ago)

Joey Pants will of course be playing Lenny in Simpsons: The Movie.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:09 (twenty-three years ago)

Michael McKean would look the part (with some weight loss)

gabbneb (gabbneb), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Haha, I like it that Ned actually can say more about With Honors.

It's not much but it's something. ;-) As Anthony noted, them liner notes are a fun thing.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 04:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Walken is awesome. Dead Zone was a wonderful movie (the books is really great too).

ChristineSH (chrissie1068), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 13:18 (twenty-three years ago)

*Walken touches costar*
Walken: Oh my god...you're going to have coffee...
Girl: Oh no, what?
Walken: YOu're going to be driving...
Girl: (wailing) Oh god, what?
Walken: It's going to be so hot, the coffee is hot!
Girl: (obv. scared) And...?
Walken: No, that's it, it's going to be hot coffee, too hot for your liking.
Girl: Now why the hell did you tell me that?!

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 14:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Christopher Walkens hair these days deserves its own role in a movie.

Chris V. (Chris V), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 15:01 (twenty-three years ago)

He needs to let a bit of it fall over one side... then he'll be Jack Lord.

ChristineSH (chrissie1068), Wednesday, 26 March 2003 15:10 (twenty-three years ago)

one year passes...
Is it just me or is Pesci essentially retired? IMDb says that he ain't done jack since Lethal Weapon 4.

Girolamo Savonarola, Sunday, 2 January 2005 06:45 (twenty-one years ago)

he ain't done jack since Lethal Weapon 4

A quick look at LW4 should explain that.

Onimo (GerryNemo), Sunday, 2 January 2005 12:32 (twenty-one years ago)

I wish he'd done Jack.

miccio (miccio), Sunday, 2 January 2005 15:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I wish nobody had done "Jack."

sugarpants (sugarpants), Sunday, 2 January 2005 18:21 (twenty-one years ago)

they should have gotten someone classier to direct that movie---like Francis Ford Coppola!

latebloomer (latebloomer), Sunday, 2 January 2005 19:41 (twenty-one years ago)

would anyone else enjoy witnessing robin williams spontaneously combusting, possibly taking pesci with him in a fiery ball of death?
