well...no. there are also...hippy qualities. which i'm finding it hard to articulate at the moment... but nonetheless a hippy she be. and as a staunch anti-hippy this puts me in a predicament. and no, anthony, free lub and singer-songwriters do not alone a hippy make.

It's funny. Hippies are supposed to be peace-loving rebels all about free speech, equality and individual choice. All of that became uncool to be associated with due to a few of the less important things associated with hippies. You know, things like patchoulli and "boring" music, some fake hippies and some confusion about what hippies are supposed to be vs. what they really are/were/stood for. Are the hippies a bunch of hypocrites or did they just dribble off into yuppies? Who cares because they smell bad and play awful music!
