So I'm just sitting here in the computer lab reading ILX when this guy starts talking really loudly behind me. Then I realize he's talking to a TV camera about e-mail spam. Then I realize they're filming. It took all my willpower not to turn around gawkily and ruin his shot. But anyhow my computer screen was totally in view. I think ILX may get some on-air time.

If ILX gets an influx of posters due to its presence on a monitor in the background of a completely unrelated story, I can almost guarantee that they will all be stalkers.

Damn. I thought it would be an investigative news story on internet predators or psychopaths who frequent message boards. Or a story about a serial killer that was posting to ILX. ILX just being incidental to the story is kind of disappointing.

In the early day of the Internet, a women who worked at a Taco Bell where I went to college in Western PA, was on "A Current Affair" because she met her British fiance on-line. She was harassed by many drunken frat boys for some time after her TV appearance...
