our little friends down the road at Great Clarendon Street seem unsure. They say oche is possibly connected with Old French ochen, meaning to cut a deep notch in, but also say its first recorded use is the 20th century - this doesn't seem to add up.

Does anyone on ILX play darts? I've just got myself a Winmau darts board as a caprice, it was on offer and came with dart flights with skulls on them, and others with chinese dragons on them.
