Crabs.

I Was Young and Stupid, Wednesday, 14 January 2004 00:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I was given a Chicken Soup for the X book once by my stepmother.

(The same one who reassured me that even though she sought to have my parents marriage annulled so she could marry my father in the Church, that wouldn't make me a bastard. Cheers!)

mookieproof (mookieproof), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 00:20 (twenty-two years ago)

My parents bought me a black skintight ribbed t-shirt/vest with a huge gold VERSACE logo across the front. I keep it as a reminder of the chasm in understanding that exists between us.

Fat Alberet (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 00:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Once my mother gave me a godawful Red Hot Chili Peppers tshirt. I dont even LIKE them, but whats worse, it was this bizarre hand-painted picture of some huge teethy smiling Luna Park style face. Totally nonsensical and hideously ugly.

Trayce (trayce), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 00:22 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going with pregnancy scare here.

Anna (Anna), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 00:22 (twenty-two years ago)

It is the saddest fucking thing in the world when people you care about give you something that proves how little they know about you.

mookieproof (mookieproof), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 00:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Christmas '93 - I shit you not. This is what my sister gave me. It danced. Worst Xmas gift I've ever received.

andy, Wednesday, 14 January 2004 01:17 (twenty-two years ago)

(Visualize a dancing Coors light can wearing sunglasses and headphones.)

Orbit (Orbit), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 01:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Once someone found out it was my birthday and they tied two towels together and threw them out the window and said 'there's your present'.

a, Wednesday, 14 January 2004 02:27 (twenty-two years ago)

t'was just a joke my dear friend. I forgot the oblig. smiley :)

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 05:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Nothing is not the worst thing to get. That nylon jogging suit was way worse. It was my dad saying to me, "Son, I hardly know you at all. But what little I know about you tells me you like things that are striped."

I'd had been better off if I hadn't known that he thought I would like that gift. I think less of him now than when I didn't know him.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Wednesday, 14 January 2004 06:39 (twenty-two years ago)
