ILX got no love for Leory Hutson!! The Hutson album from 1975 is a desert island disc for me. "Lucky Fellow" and "All Because of You" are the best soul songs ever.

Bumping this thread to ask for any music similar to his early 70s stuff. I particularly like the blend of Funk instrumentation, the light Chicago Soul orchestration and the Pop Soul vocal melodies. Closest thing I can think of would be Here My Dear by Marvin Gaye but even then that's not too close.
