I don't do this when I speak.
I'm wondering if any of you have noticed yourselves doing the same thing. It's really strange, and I'm concerned that this is one of the bad side effects of having been constantly in front of a computer as my main protocol of communication and socializing on a minute-by-minute basis. (I do actually socialize in real life. Really I do! I can be backed up here!) Or maybe I'm afflicted with some language/comprehension disorder that makes me type out one word when I mean to type out another. It's gotten to the point where I do this everytime I type, and I'm really worried and sad about it.
(Or perhaps I'm blowing this out of proportion, and I just am too anxious to send out posts before proofreading them first, whereas maybe almost ALL of us do this, but most of you actually double check your posts.)

(It happens to me but I'm a relentless self-editor and catch most of my mistakes, though not all. I'm usually most prone to leaving a word out of a sentence.)
