Well, I'm going to some hip Greek restaurant (sounds like an oxymoron if you ask me) called SNACK in the West Village with my wife and two of her friends, and I'll invariably be bored out of my skull. But, at least there'll be beer there.

It was okay. The menu was quite esoteric (lots of fish with heads still attached, lamb's tongue, cheek of pig, etc.), but `twas good. It occupies the space that used to house Shropsins (which has since moved to a much-less-picturesque locale on Carmine Street, right across from Rockit Science Records).

i was in rochester for the blizzard of '93. rochester does not like to shut things down for snow. it hit saturday night, and by monday morning my car was still actually buried up to the door handles. i called in to work and they were like 'oh, get a ride with someone.' my neighborhood being totally impassable, i hiked a half-mile to be picked up on a street corner near the inner loop.
