Who on "The Simpsons" -- stars, guest stars, voice actors -- have you personally met?

Seeing as the show has spanned the sociopolitical gamut over its 15 years, I'm curious to see how many ILXers have met people who have appeared on the show.

My list, AFAICT, is pitifully short:

-Steve Shelley (met when Joost Visser played with Two Dollar Guitar in Madison)
-Thurston Moore (stopped in the Ajax store when SY was playing Lollapalooza)
-Mike Mills from R.E.M. (he was drinking at Marie's Riptide Lounge; my drunk friend Brian asked him "Weren't you the bass player for the Method Actors?"
-Bill Clinton (shook his hand at a rally in Chicago in '92)

There might be a few other music-related ones I'm forgetting, but I think that's it...

Elvis Telecom (Chris Barrus), Sunday, 18 January 2004 00:19 (twenty-two years ago)

when was Bill Clinton on the show?

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Sunday, 18 January 2004 01:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I forgot Flea and Anthony Kiedis myself; I met them downstairs at the Cubby Bear in 1986 because a friend of mine was from L.A. and took bass lessons from Flea back home.

Ditto YLT, if they count.

Bill Clinton actually may not have been on the show. He obviously made several appearances as a character, but come to think of it, I don't think he ever portrayed himself. So I stand corrected.

Baked Bean Teeth (Baked Bean Teeth), Sunday, 18 January 2004 01:17 (twenty-two years ago)

he might not have been too happy about voicing the lines
"i'm a pretty lousy president"
and
"i've even done it with pigs"

Melissa W (Melissa W), Sunday, 18 January 2004 23:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Hitler (I was time-traveling). I made sure to kick the bastard in the shins. He thought I was a ghost, he-he! Couldn't do much more, though, or I'd have been adversely affecting space-time.

There was a in-joke referring to this incident in the episode where James Woods guest-starred (he took Apu's place at the Kwiki-Mart).
