Tuition Fees

The thread on "Who here pays tuition fees" surely needs expanded to a single thread. So what's your feelings? I stated mine on the other thread but will re-post them here in a sec...

More importantly did you see Blair writhing an wriggling against the STudents and others on Newsnight Special tonight. Not answering anything really. I got the feeling that he didn't really want to do this but had to a least worst option kind of thing. He didn't articulate his reasoning very well. He was challenged at every turn. I'm starting to think he will stand down before the next election.

I saw it, yes indeed. Appalling how he avoided virtually every point or flat out denied it (Paxman: "Australia has had a 38% decrease in students going to university following opt up fees" - Blair: "No they haven't" - Paxman: "Well it says so here" - Blair: "Where?" - Paxman: "In the Australian government report" - Blair: "Uhm...").

I don't think he'll stand down though.

Remember when Blair got elected as leader and he was reckoned to be an intellectual? I think this was mainly because he'd allegedly read some Tony Giddens and had been to Oxbridge; this being used by the usual snobby bastards to indicate superiority over Major who hadn't been to University.

Well, I'd just like to state clearly and openly that I think he's as thick as pigshit. dense. Moronic. Eejit. Durr-braned. etc.

But he went to Oxford, Dave B. They don't just take anyone, you know.

I bet he knows Latin as well.
