During summers when I was in high school I worked for my county's parks department. At the end of the summer every year there was a picnic. One of the rangers, an odd, mousey little man that hardly ever spoke to us, showed up at this picnic wearing an authentic gaucho outfit, with the knee-high boots, pancho, hat, and even a bolo and a whip. Everybody was speechless, then soon doubled over in hysterical laughter. He spent the rest of the afternoon giving us bolo demonstrations and playing volleyball, all in his gaucho outfit. It was truly awesome. Viva el Gaucho!
