According to prosecutors, Montesinos was on the CIA's payroll as an informant on drug trafficking and leftist guerrilla movements while profiting from the sales of arms to those groups he was paid to spy on.

I heard about it a couple days ago as a short aside during the news on the BBC World Service. It took a couple of searches until I found this story.

That odd interview with Tommy Franks in a St.Petersberg, Florida paper where he says he doubts the Constitution would survive a WMD attack in the US is another weird one that flew under the radar.

It is definitely strange times.
